About Me
I'm Prohurtz, a student and VR developer working where hardware meets immersive computing.
My Journey
I'm studying Electrical and Computer Engineering, digging into the technical foundations that power modern VR systems. My interest in technology started with a simple curiosity about how things work, which quickly grew into a focus on virtual reality and immersive computing.
What began as tinkering with basic electronics has grown into VR hardware modifications, award-winning haptic feedback systems, and open-source tools used across the VR community.
What I Do
Hardware Development
Designing and building VR hardware, from eye-tracking systems to haptic feedback devices.
Software Development
Creating drivers, applications, and tools that improve VR experiences and accessibility.
Innovation
Exploring new possibilities in VR through hackathons and experimental projects.
Recognition & Achievements
MIT Reality Hack 2025 ยท Bronze Winner
TempSense: temperature-based haptic feedback platform for VR
MIT Reality Hack 2024 ยท Hardware Winner
FlexVR: electrostimulation therapy program for VR
Open Source Contributor
Maintaining EyeTrackVR and contributing to the VR community
Looking Forward
As I continue my studies, I want to explore new frontiers in VR technology: more accessible VR hardware, better haptic feedback systems, and a stronger open-source VR ecosystem.
I believe VR can change how we interact with technology, and I want to help make that future more accessible and immersive for everyone.
